Rebecca hails from Chicago, where she is a founding ensemble member of the critically acclaimed Shattered Globe Theatre, approaching their 30th season, and where she has performed in over 20 Joseph Jefferson award winning productions. Rebecca has received Joseph Jefferson awards for her portrayals of Stella in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and for Pam in FROZEN ASSETS, as well as nominations for her portrayals of the title character in ANNA KARENINA and Catherine in A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE. Other SGT favorites include ROCKET TO THE MOON, JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG, ALL MY SONS, BONDAGERS, THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, SKELETON, TALK RADIO, and AND A NIGHTINGALE SANG. Rebecca has frequented the Goodman Theatre Stages as well as Steppenwolf Theater, European Repertory, and a few others around town. Rebecca currently resides between Chicago and Lake Geneva after returning home from a long stint in Los Angeles where she had the privilege of sharing the stage at the Geffen Playhouse with Ed Harris, Bill Pullman and the stunning, late Glenne Headley, in the world premiere of Beth Henley’s THE JACKSONIAN directed by Robert Falls. Rebecca, as an ensemble member of The Road Theatre In Los Angeles, earned herself an LA Scenie award for the role of Gail in THE BUTCHER OF BARABOO. She was also an artistic associate at the now defunct Need Theater where she received an LA Stage award nomination for best actress in a comdedic role for her portrayal of Fudgie in FATBOY by John Clancy.
